ABOUT ME

Justine is an experienced Occupational Therapist who specialises in working with children, aged between 2 – 8 years of age, with a wide range of developmental delays & disabilities. She has had extensive experience, working with children in both private and community-based sectors (including an Early Childhood Intervention service, kindergartens, childcares, and schools).

She has supported children with a wide range of developmental delays
and disabilities (including autism, ADHD, social communication disorders,
anxiety and motor coordination disorders).

Justine draws on strength-based, interest-based, and capacity building
frameworks, in addition to child and family centred approaches to support
children and their families to flourish and achieve their goals.

She is passionate about working in collaboration with families/carers and
directly with children to learn new skills, in a fun and motivating way so that
everyday activities are easier. She is also highly skilled in collaborating with
educators/teachers and other health professionals that work to support
the child/family to ensure a holistic therapy approach.

Justine believes strongly in evidence-based practice and is continually
exploring new research and interventions to support her client’s goals.

When she is not working, Justine enjoys spending quality time with her
husband, friends, and family. She enjoys going on walks in nature, doing
yoga or gardening at home. She also enjoys getting creative and engaging
in one of her many hobbies of either painting, beading, sewing, & dancing.
